Sight & Sound Automation

In-ground outdoor subwoofer installed in a landscaped garden bed.

Not every outdoor speaker needs to be visible to work well. This install is a good example — speakers set directly into the garden itself, dug into the ground rather than mounted on a wall or post.

Why Go In-Ground

Garden speakers set into the landscape blend into the space instead of standing out as obvious hardware. For a garden meant to look and feel natural, that matters — the sound is there, but the equipment isn’t competing with the greenery around it.

What Placement Like This Actually Takes

Getting in-ground speakers right means more than just digging a hole. Drainage, weatherproofing, and sound coverage across the garden all have to be worked out before anything goes into the ground — get it wrong, and either the sound suffers or the equipment doesn’t last.

The Finished Result

Once it’s in, the garden looks exactly like a garden — no visible speakers, no hardware breaking up the landscape. Just sound, coming from a space that still looks completely natural.
